Natalie Portman was born on June 9th, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. Her first major success was when she got the role of Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. She went to Harvard University in 1999 to study psychology, getting her bachelor’s degree in 2003. In 2005, Natalie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress- Motion Picture for the film Closer. You may also recognize her from V for Vendetta (2006) and Black Swan (2011). Portman became engaged to dancer Benjamin Millepied in 2010 and gave birth to their son Aleph in 2011.
