Eva Mendes was born in Miami, Florida, USA on March 5th, 1974. Originally, Mendes aspired to become a nun. She went to Hoover High School in Glendale and later to California State University; where she studied marketing. Eva dropped out to pursue her acting career. After various smaller films, Mendes was in the movie Training Day in 2001, The Spirit in 2008 and most recently The Other Guys and Last Night in 2010. Mendes has been with her boyfriend, George Augusto since 2002 and the couple does not plan on having children; although, marriage may be in the distant future.
